EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
The extra virgin olive oil is the product of the pressing of olives that have not achieved yet the right level of veraison. Thanks to its healthy properties, it is one of the main elements of Mediterranean diet: it contains antioxidant substances as biophenols and E-vitamin and it is particularly recommended in the nutrition of children and kids during the growth. The definition of “extra virgin bio olive oil” is relevant when it is produced with at least 95% (in weight) of olives obtained from biological agriculture that completely excludes the use of chemical substances.
